The PET core material increases the ‘flex cycles’ of the card by approximately 10 times compared to a standard material card, giving the product a expected hugely increased life cycle of approximately 10 to 20 years.

In addition it is reccomended to use a PET core material card such as this to avoid bowing of the card if you are overprinting using a re-transfer printer, as these use high heat temperatures in the printing process.

In addition PET as a material is far more eco-friendly than PVC as it is easily recycled, relatively energy efficient to produce, light-weight, and has a very long lifespan.
