Limited Warranty Policy
ID Enhancements, Inc. provides a limited one (1) year warranty from the original date of purchase, subject to the terms, conditions, and procedures outlined below. Warranty claims are administered in accordance with the official warranty policies and procedures of Alarm.com.
Failure to follow the procedures described in this policy may result in denial of warranty eligibility.
Installation Requirement
To qualify for warranty coverage:

Products must be professionally installed by a Certified Alarm.com Installer.

Proof of professional installation may be required.
Products that are self-installed by an end user are not eligible for warranty coverage through Alarm.com or ID Enhancements, Inc.
ID Enhancements, Inc. does not provide technical support, warranty processing, or replacement services for self-installed products.
Initiating a Warranty Claim
All warranty claims must be initiated by the certified Alarm.com installer.
To begin the process:

The installer must submit a support ticket directly with Alarm.com.

ID Enhancements, Inc. cannot submit warranty claims on behalf of installers or end users.

End users may not initiate warranty claims directly with ID Enhancements, Inc..
Once Alarm.com has reviewed a claim and issued a determination, ID Enhancements, Inc. will provide return instructions and next steps for repair, replacement, or refund, if applicable.
Warranty Determination Timeline
Following receipt of the defective product, Alarm.com typically issues a warranty determination (repair, replacement, or refund) within approximately one (1) week. Actual processing times may vary.
Warranty Coverage
This limited warranty applies to products that, within one (1) year of the original purchase date:

Are defective upon arrival (DOA)

Fail during professional installation (by a certified Alarm.com installer)

Develop defects under normal use and service when professionally installed
Warranty coverage is limited to defects in materials or workmanship as determined by Alarm.com.
Exclusions and Limitations
The following conditions are not covered under this warranty:

Products installed by an end user (self-installed products)

Products outside the one (1) year warranty period

Products damaged due to improper, incorrect, or non-compliant installation

Products damaged due to misuse, abuse, negligence, modification, unauthorized repair, or external causes (including power surges, environmental damage, or physical damage)

Products returned without an approved warranty claim
Products that fall into any of the above categories are not eligible for repair, replacement, or refund.
Limitation of Liability
ID Enhancements, Inc.'s liability is limited solely to the administration of Alarm.com’s warranty process. Final warranty determinations are made exclusively by Alarm.com.
ID Enhancements shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from product failure, improper installation, or misuse.
