The Aiphone C-123L/A ChimeCom Door Answering Intercom System Set provides a simple and reliable way to answer a door from inside a home, office, reception area, or small commercial facility. This single-master set includes one C-D door station and one C-ML/A master station, creating a convenient audio communication system between the entry door and interior station.
When a visitor presses the call button at the door station, the master station produces a chime alert. The person inside can then answer from the master station using push-to-talk / release-to-listen communication, while the visitor speaks hands-free at the door station. This makes the C-123L/A a practical solution for basic door answering applications where clear, straightforward communication is needed.
Additional master stations may be added to expand the system. Each master station requires its own power supply, using either an SKK-62 power supply or four “C” batteries. Communication automatically times out after being idle for twenty seconds, helping simplify operation and reduce unnecessary system activity.
