Indala Cards

HID Indala® 125 kHz Proximity Cards & Credentials

HID Indala® proximity credentials provide reliable 125 kHz access control for organizations using Indala readers and systems. Available as clamshell cards, printable ISO cards, composite cards and compact key tags, Indala credentials support a wide range of access control applications.

Whether you are replacing existing Indala cards, adding employees to an established system or ordering credentials for a new installation, the correct format, facility/site code and card number range are critical. ID Enhancements can help you identify the appropriate Indala credential and configuration for your system.

Indala FlexSecur® Technology

HID Indala 125 kHz credentials incorporate FlexSecur® security technology. FlexSecur provides an additional verification process at the reader, helping screen unauthorized credentials before card data is passed to the access control system.

This technology is specific to the Indala credential platform and is one of the important considerations when purchasing replacement credentials for an existing Indala installation.

Ordering Replacement Indala Cards?

When adding cards to an existing access control system, do not rely on appearance alone. Two cards that look identical may contain different programming.

Before ordering, verify your existing card format, facility or site code, and card number range. If you are unsure what you currently use, contact ID Enhancements and we can help you determine what information is needed before ordering.

Understanding Indala Card Programming

An Indala credential must be programmed with information that matches your access control system. Depending on the system and card format, this can include a facility code, site code, card number and other programmed data.

If you are replacing existing credentials, matching the technology alone is not enough. The new cards must also use programming that your access control system recognizes. Supplying the information from an existing working credential or previous card order can help ensure the correct configuration is selected.

Indala Cards for Existing Access Control Systems

Organizations maintaining these systems may need additional credentials for new employees, replacement badges, contractors or expanding cardholder populations.

ID Enhancements supplies Indala FlexCard, FlexISO, FlexISO XT and FlexKey credentials for compatible Indala access control systems. Multiple credential styles allow organizations to maintain their existing Indala technology while selecting the physical credential best suited to each application.

Frequently Asked Questions About Indala Cards

What frequency do Indala proximity cards use?

HID Indala proximity credentials operate at 125 kHz and are designed for compatible Indala proximity readers and access control installations.

What is Indala FlexSecur?

FlexSecur® is security technology used by HID Indala credentials. It provides a verification process at the reader that helps identify unauthorized credentials before credential data is passed to the host access control system.
