Card options include standard ISO-size PVC and composite credentials, while available MIFARE technologies and memory capacities vary by product.
13.56 MHz MIFARE Technology
MIFARE operates at 13.56 MHz and is based on ISO/IEC 14443 contactless smart card technology. Unlike traditional 125 kHz proximity credentials, MIFARE products can support memory, data storage, authentication, and application-specific functionality depending on the credential technology selected.
MIFARE technology is widely used in commercial access control, healthcare, education, transportation, corporate campuses, and other environments that require dependable contactless identification and credential management.
