The Aiphone JP-8Z Distribution Adaptor provides a convenient homerun wiring solution for Aiphone JP Series video intercom systems. Designed to connect a JP-4MED master station with multiple JP-4HD video sub master stations, the JP-8Z simplifies system wiring by allowing individual CAT-5e or CAT-6 cable runs from the distribution adaptor to each station.

The JP-8Z is particularly useful when a JP Series installation requires multiple video sub master stations but a traditional daisy-chain wiring layout is not practical. By providing dedicated homerun connections, installers can route individual cables back to a centralized distribution point for a cleaner and more organized installation.
The Aiphone JP-8Z operates from 24V DC using the Aiphone PS-2420UL power supply. Aiphone specifies one PS-2420UL for up to four JP-4HD sub master stations; installations with five or more JP-4HD stations require an additional power supply.
