The Farpointe Delta6.2 is a slim 13.56 MHz contactless smart card reader with integrated keypad designed for mullion-mount access control installations. Based on proven MIFARE® contactless RFID technology, the Delta6.2 supports both Card Serial Number (CSN) and Sector reading for compatible ISO 14443 and ISO 15693 credentials. Its combination of credential reading and PIN entry makes the Delta6.2 well suited for applications requiring card-only, PIN-only or credential-plus-PIN authentication. With support for Wiegand, ABA Track II and available OSDP communications, weather- and tamper-resistant construction, and a compact profile for mounting on door and window frames, the Delta6.2 provides a flexible reader solution for commercial access control systems.

CSN + Sector Reading
The Delta6.2 Sector configuration provides more flexibility than a CSN-only reader by supporting both the credential's Card Serial Number and compatible protected sector data.
Farpointe lists support for compatible credentials using ISO 14443 and ISO 15693 protocols. Sector-reading capability may include Delta Card Sector as well as certain FIPS 201 PIV, TWIC and CAC credentials, depending on system and credential configuration.
13.56 MHz Contactless Smart Card Technology
Farpointe's Delta family is based on 13.56 MHz MIFARE contactless RFID technology. Depending on credential and system configuration, supported technologies may include MIFARE Classic, MIFARE DESFire EV1 and EV2, MIFARE Ultralight, MIFARE Plus and other compatible ISO-based credential types. The reader is designed to integrate with a wide range of electronic access control systems while providing both credential and keypad functionality in a single compact device.
