Advanced Hands-Free Door Activation
SureWave™ switches use active infrared sensing technology to detect an approaching hand and activate an automatic door operator or other connected access control equipment. The CM-331 provides a standard adjustable sensing range of approximately 1 inch to 28 inches, allowing the activation distance to be configured for the application.
Touchless operation is particularly useful at building entrances and other frequently used openings where convenient, contact-free activation is preferred over a conventional mechanical push plate.
RGB LED Status Light Ring
The -SGLR plug-in LED light ring adds red, green and blue illumination around the touchless sensor. The idle and active colors can be configured as off, red, green or blue to create a clear visual indication for the user.
Light-ring operation can be controlled by activation of the switch itself or by a dry input from external equipment such as a door contact, control relay or access control system. This allows the switch to provide visual indication of activation, door position or lock status, depending on system design.
