The Camden CX-IRB Isolation Relay Module is a compact, economical relay designed to isolate low-voltage devices from electrical noise, induced voltages, and unwanted power sources. Ideal for access control systems, automatic doors, telephone entry systems, and other low-voltage applications, the CX-IRB operates on selectable 12 or 24VDC and provides heavy-duty DPDT relay contacts rated up to 8 amps.
The CX-IRB is designed to help installers solve control problems caused by electrical noise, induced voltage, or interaction between connected devices. By electrically isolating circuits through its relay contacts, the module can help prevent unwanted signals from affecting door operators, access control panels, locks, and other low-voltage equipment.
It is especially useful when integrating equipment from different manufacturers or when existing wiring produces unexpected voltage conditions.
The Double Pole Double Throw (DPDT) relay provides two independent poles with both normally open and normally closed contact options. This gives installers flexibility when controlling or isolating multiple functions within a door control or access control system.
Its compact footprint allows the CX-IRB to fit inside many automatic door operator housings, power supply cabinets, and existing electrical enclosures.
