CDVI WRACT RADIUM 433MHz Wiegand Active Tag Receiver
The CDVI WRACT RADIUM Active Tag Receiver provides long-range, hands-free credential detection for compatible access control systems. Operating at 433.92 MHz, the WRACT receives transmissions from compatible CDVI RACT active tag remotes and sends credential information to the connected access control system through a standard 26-bit Wiegand output.
With an adjustable detection range from approximately 3 to 65 feet, two selectable detection modes, and an IP65-rated enclosure, the WRACT is well suited for hands-free access, personnel monitoring, automated guest services, industrial environments, schools, care facilities, and other applications where a credential needs to be detected without presenting it directly to a conventional reader.

Hands-Free Active Tag Detection
Unlike a traditional proximity reader that requires a credential to be presented directly at the reader, the WRACT detects compatible actively transmitting RACT credentials from a distance. The RACT remote continuously transmits its credential information, allowing the WRACT to detect the tag when it enters the configured detection area.
This makes the system particularly useful for applications where users need to be identified automatically or where physically presenting a card or fob would be inconvenient.
Two Detection Modes
The WRACT provides two selectable operating modes to accommodate different active-tag applications.
Single Detection Mode
Detects an active credential entering the receiver's range and can manage up to 80 active remotes simultaneously.
Continuous Detection Mode
Allows credentials to be continuously monitored while they remain within the detection area and supports up to 60 active remotes.
Adjustable Detection Range
Receiver sensitivity can be adjusted to establish a detection range between approximately 3 feet and 65 feet. This allows the installation to be tailored to the size and purpose of the monitored area.
A shorter detection zone may be useful around specific doors or checkpoints, while longer detection distances can support wider passageways, personnel monitoring zones, automated access applications, and other hands-free environments.
26-Bit Wiegand Access Control Integration
The 26-bit Wiegand output allows the WRACT to operate as a credential receiver connected to a compatible access control system. When a supported RACT active tag is detected, the receiver sends the credential data to the access control panel for authorization and system processing.
This architecture allows hands-free active-tag identification to be incorporated into systems that accept compatible 26-bit Wiegand reader inputs.
Compatible Credential
The WRACT is designed for use with the CDVI RACT RADIUM Active Remote. The RACT continuously transmits at 433 MHz and provides a line-of-sight range of up to approximately 65 feet when used with the WRACT system.
Please Note: RACT active tag remotes are separate system components and are not included with the WRACT receiver unless specifically stated.
