Add Remote Entry Points to an 1830 Series System
The 2358-010 Tracker board is used when a DoorKing access control installation needs to control additional doors, gates, or other entry points beyond the primary controller location.
One Tracker Expansion Board is generally used for each remote entry point. Multiple boards can be connected to the access controller, allowing the system to scale as additional readers and controlled openings are added.
Compatible DoorKing Access Controllers
DoorKing specifies the 2358-010 Tracker Expansion Board for compatible 1830 Series PC-programmable access control systems, including:
- DoorKing 1833
- DoorKing 1835
- DoorKing 1837
- DoorKing 1838
Wiegand Reader & Device Support
The Tracker board provides power and inputs for many compatible 26-, 30-, and 31-bit Wiegand devices. Depending on the system design, these may include:
- Proximity card readers
- Keypads
- RF transmitters
- Other compatible Wiegand access devices
Door Monitoring & Control
- Forced-entry alarm output
- Door-ajar alarm output
- Request-to-exit input
- Individual door hold-open control
- Gate operator status and data reporting
- Programmable functions for site-specific access control requirements
Expandable to 48 Wired Entry Points
Compatible DoorKing controllers can support up to 48 hardwired Tracker Expansion Boards, allowing a single access control system to manage a large number of remote doors or gates. Each board is individually addressed so the controller can identify and manage the corresponding access point.
Common Applications
- Multi-door commercial access control
- Apartment and condominium properties
- Gated communities
- Parking and vehicle entry points
- Commercial office buildings
- Industrial facilities
- Remote pedestrian gates
- Additional card-reader-controlled doors
- Telephone entry system expansion
EEPROM Memory
The 2358-010 includes EEPROM memory, providing non-volatile storage so programmed information can be retained when normal operating power is removed. This supports reliable operation in professionally installed access control systems.

Compatibility & Installation Notice
Important: The DoorKing 2358-010 is an expansion board and is not a standalone access controller. Verify the DoorKing controller model, Wiegand device format, available power source, enclosure requirements, board addressing, wiring distance, and access-point configuration before ordering. DoorKing installation documentation should be followed for wiring, addressing, programming, and UL-compliant installation.
