Description
The FARGO by HID 45613 is a genuine YMCKO half-panel color ribbon designed specifically for the HID FARGO DTC1500 ID card printer. With an estimated yield of up to 850 card prints per ribbon, the 45613 is an excellent choice for ID cards that require a full-color photo or logo on only part of the card while using resin black for text, barcodes, serial numbers and other personalization. The clear overlay panel adds a protective layer over the printed surface to help reduce image fading and everyday wear.
A half-panel ribbon uses shortened Yellow, Magenta and Cyan color panels that cover approximately half of the card surface, while the resin black and clear overlay panels extend across the full printable card area.
This makes the 45613 ideal for ID card layouts where a color photograph, company logo or graphic appears on one portion of the badge and the remaining card contains primarily black text, barcodes or other monochrome information.

A half-panel ribbon is a strong choice when your card design does not require full-color coverage across the entire surface. For example, a typical employee badge may have a full-color photograph on one side of the card with the employee's name, title, ID number and barcode printed in black.
In that type of layout, the 45613 can provide the color quality required for the photograph while taking advantage of the higher 850-card yield. If your card design includes full-color backgrounds, large logos or color graphics across most of the card, a standard full-panel YMCKO ribbon may be the better choice.
