This SKU is an UPGRADE license ā it is not a full, stand-alone Asure ID program. It is intended for customers who already own the qualifying Asure ID license shown below and want to move to a higher or newer edition.
This product requires an eligible existing Asure ID license. Do not order this SKU for a new installation that does not already have the required qualifying license.

What this SKU does: moves an eligible installation from Enterprise 5.x to Enterprise 7. Because this is an upgrade, the qualifying original license must already exist.
Choose the Correct Asure ID SKU
Full Program: for a new software license. Upgrade: for an existing qualifying license moving to another edition/version. Site License: adds licensed users/workstations to an eligible deployment. Protect Plan: support/update coverage only; software is not included.
Because Asure ID has many similar part numbers, verify the current edition, target edition, user range and delivery/license requirements before ordering.
Asure ID Edition Overview
Asure ID Enterprise is HID's networked enterprise ID card personalization, aimed at larger organizations with shared databases and multiple workstations. Key capabilities include networking, Microsoft SQL Server support, ODBC import/export, database views, reporting and Live Link across a single database with multiple tables.

HID positions Asure ID in four progressively capable editions. Solo covers basic photo-ID issuance; Express adds stronger data management, reporting and batch printing; Enterprise adds networked database workflows; and Exchange adds advanced secure-credential and smart-card encoding capabilities. Selecting the right license type is just as important as selecting the right edition.
