No-cut 12/24 VAC/VDC electric strike with field-selectable fail safe/fail secure operation and satin stainless steel finish.
The HES 8000C-12/24D-630 electric strike is a compact, high-performance concealed electric strike for cylindrical locksets. Designed for installations where minimizing frame modification is important, the HES 8000C fits a standard ANSI preparation and can be installed without cutting into the face of the frame. Simply remove the existing strike plate, align the strike vertically with the latchbolt centerline and install.
The HES 8000 Series combines a concealed design with substantial strength and durability, including a 1,500 lb static strength rating, 70 ft-lb dynamic strength and 1,000,000-cycle endurance rating. The 8000C is non-handed, tamper resistant and field selectable for either fail secure or fail safe operation, making it well suited for electronic access control applications in commercial openings.

No-Cut Concealed Electric Strike Design
A major advantage of the HES 8000C electric strike is its concealed, no-cut installation design. Instead of cutting into the face of the frame, the installer removes the existing strike plate and positions the 8000 Series strike within the prepared opening. The strike's vertical adjustment feature allows alignment with the cylindrical latchbolt centerline and helps accommodate door sag or minor door and frame misalignment.
Designed for Cylindrical Locksets
The HES 8000C-12/24D-630 is specifically configured for use with cylindrical locksets and accommodates latchbolts from 1/2" up to 5/8" throw. This makes the 8000C a strong choice for converting suitable cylindrical-lock openings to electronically controlled access without replacing the existing mechanical lockset.

Grade 1 Strength & Commercial Durability
The HES 8000 Series is rated to ANSI/BHMA A156.31 Grade 1 and is engineered for demanding access control applications. The strike provides 1,500 lbs of static strength, 70 ft-lbs of dynamic strength and an endurance rating of 1,000,000 cycles.
The 8000 Series is also UL 294 listed, UL 1034 burglary-resistant listed and suitable for outdoor use, RoHS compliant, ANSI/SDI 250.13 certified and ASTM E330 certified.
What Does HES 8000C-12/24D-630 Include?
The 8000C is the complete HES 8000 electric strike configuration and includes the electric strike body along with the 801 and 801A faceplates. The complete 8000C package is supplied in a 630 satin stainless steel finish and includes 12V and 24V plug-in connectors.
