High Frequency Readers

(Showing 7 of 7)

AWID high frequency readers operating at 13.56 MHz are selected for applications requiring enhanced credential security, faster data exchange, and support for advanced smart card technologies. Unlike low-frequency proximity readers, these devices enable encrypted communication, expanded data handling, and multi-application credential use. AWID high frequency readers serve as the interface between credentials and access control systems, capturing credential data and transmitting it to control panels via standard protocols such as Wiegand and OSDP. Commonly installed at doors, gates, and controlled entry points, they are ideal for organizations upgrading from legacy systems or implementing higher-security access control environments where performance, flexibility, and scalability are critical.
