Description

HID iCLASS + PROX 2120BG1MNM | 26-Bit H10301 Dual-Technology Access Card

The HID 2120BG1MNM iCLASS + PROX Card combines 13.56 MHz iCLASS smart card technology and 125 kHz HID Proximity technology in a single ISO-size access control credential. Programmed in the widely used 26-bit H10301 format, this dual-technology card is designed for organizations that need compatibility with existing HID Prox readers while supporting iCLASS smart card readers and migration to higher-frequency credential technology. The HID 2120 platform provides 2K-bit (256-byte) read/write memory with two application areas and a printable card surface suitable for employee identification and access control applications.

Designed for Prox-to-iCLASS Migration

The HID 2120 series places two credential technologies in one card, allowing the same credential to interact with compatible 125 kHz HID Prox readers and 13.56 MHz iCLASS readers. This can simplify credential management when a facility contains a combination of legacy and newer HID reader technologies.

Rather than issuing separate credentials during a reader upgrade, organizations can deploy a dual-technology credential and transition compatible openings over time. This makes the 2120BG1MNM particularly useful for phased access control upgrades, multi-building installations and systems where both Prox and iCLASS readers remain in service.

26-Bit H10301 Programming

This configuration uses the HID H10301 26-bit access control format. H10301 credentials use a facility code together with an individual card number, so replacement or expansion cards should be ordered with programming that matches the requirements of the existing access control system.

Important: Matching the 26-bit format alone does not ensure that a new credential will operate as an exact replacement. Verify the required facility code and card-number range before ordering additional credentials.

iCLASS Smart Card Capability

The iCLASS portion of the credential operates at 13.56 MHz and provides read/write functionality for compatible iCLASS applications. HID's 2K-bit iCLASS credentials provide two application areas, including the standard HID access control application area and an additional area available for compatible applications.

iCLASS technology supports features including mutual authentication, encrypted data transfer and diversified read/write keys when used within a compatible HID iCLASS environment.
