Keyscan 13.56MHz high-frequency credentials provide a secure, scalable solution for modern access control systems requiring advanced smart card technology. Developed under dormakaba, Keyscan’s K-SECURE credential line includes ISO cards, key fobs, and transmitter-based credentials, along with smart card formats such as KI2K2SE, KC2K2SE, KF2K2SE, and KI16K16SE (iCLASS® SE-based), as well as K-SECURE 1K and 4K MIFARE® credentials. These credentials are specifically designed to operate with Keyscan high-frequency readers including the K-SMART, K-SMART3, and K-SKPR smartcard/keypad reader series, all of which support 13.56MHz technologies and encrypted credential communication.
The K-SMART and K-SMART3 readers provide reliable 13.56MHz performance with support for physical and mobile credentials, making them ideal for both new installations and system upgrades, while the K-SKPR adds keypad functionality for dual authentication environments. Keyscan K-SECURE credentials utilize enhanced encryption and anti-counterfeiting measures, along with a 36-bit format for improved security over traditional 125kHz systems. Widely used in commercial, institutional, and enterprise environments, Keyscan high-frequency solutions offer flexible deployment across standalone and networked systems.
