The Keyscan K-SECURE 1K is a high-security 13.56 MHz contactless smart card credential designed specifically for compatible Keyscan access control systems and K-SMART-series readers. Featuring AES 128-bit encryption, Keyscan 36-bit formatting and layered anti-counterfeiting and anti-duplication technology, the K-SECURE 1K provides a more secure credential platform for organizations upgrading from traditional proximity technology or expanding an existing Keyscan smart-card system. Cards are supplied in a package of 50.
The K-SECURE 1K combines 13.56 MHz contactless smart-card technology with Keyscan's proprietary security architecture. Unlike basic low-frequency proximity credentials, K-SECURE credentials incorporate encrypted card-to-reader communication designed to strengthen credential authentication and reduce the risk of unauthorized card duplication.
These credentials are intended for use with compatible Keyscan K-SMART3, K-SMART and K-SKPR readers. They are particularly well suited for commercial offices, healthcare facilities, education, manufacturing, government, multi-tenant buildings and other facilities using a Keyscan electronic access control platform.
