The Paxton 692-448-US is a dual-function Net2 125 kHz proximity ISO card with magnetic stripe, designed for use with compatible Paxton Net2 access control systems. Each credential combines Paxton proximity technology with an integrated magnetic stripe in a standard CR80 / ISO ID-1 card format, allowing organizations to support physical access control while also using the magnetic stripe for compatible secondary applications. This package includes 100 cards, supplied as 10 packs of 10.
These proximity credentials are designed specifically for the Paxton Net2 access control platform. Once a cardholder is enrolled in the Net2 software, the credential can be presented to a compatible Paxton proximity reader and the system immediately checks the user's assigned access permissions.
Paxton uses Hitag2 technology with proprietary encoding and an authentication process that includes password exchange between the credential and reader. This helps provide an additional layer of protection beyond basic unencoded proximity credentials.
