The Schlage 9651T utilizes 13.56 MHz MIFARE Classic® technology with a simple fixed memory structure and freely programmable memory, allowing organizations to support multiple applications beyond access control, including cashless vending, cafeteria payment systems, transit applications, membership programs, and secure identity management. The credential incorporates 3DES encryption to help protect data being transmitted between the credential and reader for improved system security. 

Designed around open global standards, Schlage MIFARE credentials provide long-term flexibility and interoperability while remaining compatible with Schlage encrypted readers, Schlage electronic locks, MT and MTB multi-technology readers, Schlage RC reader controllers, and other CSN-compatible manufacturers’ systems. The 9651T offers a 1K byte / 8k bit memory capacity with 16 application sectors and is backed by Schlage’s limited lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects.
