The Viking Electronics K-1500-7 is a heavy-duty, vandal resistant analog panel telephone designed for dependable communication in security, institutional, industrial and high-traffic environments. The K-1500-7 features a 14-gauge marine-grade 316 stainless steel panel, armored handset cord, all-metal cradle and a heavy-duty hearing aid compatible amplified handset.
Designed as a no-dial ringdown panel phone, the K-1500-7 can operate on a standard analog telephone line, analog PABX/FXS station or dedicated ringdown circuit. It is well suited for gate and entrance communication, courtesy phones, security stations, correctional facilities, industrial locations and other applications requiring a rugged telephone without a keypad.

Ringdown & Hotline Operation
The Viking K-1500-7 is a no-dial telephone. It is designed to provide straightforward handset communication where users do not need access to a keypad.
The phone can be connected to a dedicated ringdown circuit or used with the Viking DLE-200B Line Simulator for point-to-point applications. For hot-line applications requiring automatic dialing, the K-1500-7 can be paired with a compatible Viking hot-line dialer such as the K-1900-5.
Applications requiring dialing directly from the telephone should use an appropriate Viking dialer-equipped model rather than the K-1500-7.
Mounting Options
The K-1500-7 can be flush mounted to a standard double-gang electrical box. Surface mounting is also available when used with an optional compatible Viking enclosure.
