HID FARGO DTC1500 ID Card Printer with Ethernet
The HID FARGO DTC1500 ID card printer is a secure, high-capacity direct-to-card printer designed for organizations that require dependable, professional credential production. This single-sided base model includes USB connectivity, Ethernet connectivity and an internal print server, allowing the printer to be connected directly to a computer or shared across an authorized network.
Delivering print speeds of up to 225 full-color cards per hour, the FARGO DTC1500 is well suited for producing employee badges, student IDs, healthcare credentials, membership cards, government identification and access-control cards. High-capacity ribbon options, a 100-card input hopper and advanced data-security features make the DTC1500 an efficient choice for growing and established card-issuance programs.
Fast, Professional ID Card Printing
The DTC1500 uses dye-sublimation and resin thermal-transfer technology to produce professional photo IDs, text, barcodes and graphics. Full-color YMCKO cards can be printed in approximately 16 seconds, providing an output of up to 225 cards per hour.
USB and Network Connectivity
This base configuration includes USB and Ethernet connectivity with an internal print server. Connect the printer to an individual workstation or place it on a compatible network so authorized users can access a centralized ID card printer.
Built-In Credential Security
The HID FARGO DTC1500 incorporates password-protected printer operation, AES-256 data encryption and resin scramble data protection. These features help safeguard cardholder information as it is transmitted to and processed by the printer.
Custom Watermark Protection
A custom logo, text or symbol can be incorporated into the ribbon’s clear overlay panel to create a visible security watermark on the finished card. This economical security feature helps make credentials more difficult to alter or reproduce without requiring a separate holographic laminate.
