Radio Key® Technology

Radio Key® proximity credentials utilize proven 125kHz proximity technology that delivers reliable read performance while remaining unaffected by body shielding or typical environmental conditions. Radio Key® credentials support formats up to 40 bits and may also be used in applications including time & attendance, biometric verification, and cashless vending by referencing the credential number within an external database.

Card Construction

The RKCM molded clamshell card features a rugged ABS construction that permits thicker antenna windings than standard ISO cards, resulting in excellent read range and long service life. An integrated slot allows attachment to a badge reel, strap clip, or lanyard for convenient daily use.

Reader & Format Compatibility

These credentials are designed for use with Secura Key® RKDT Readers and are also compatible with HID® Proximity Readers when the appropriate Wiegand format is selected.

Printing Note: The molded clamshell construction is not imageable. An optional adhesive-backed PVC card may also be applied for photo ID printing using most direct-to-card or thermal transfer printers.
